SUMMER YOUTH THEATRE PROGRAM 2025

Theatre 29’s wildly successful Summer Youth Theatre program announces their 2025 program and dates. The program will run from June 23rd though July27th, 2025, culminating in four performances of the Broadway Musicals, “Willy Wonka the Musical, Kids”, and “Willy Wonka the Musical, Jr.”, on July 24, 25, 26, and 27, 2025.  

Program Director Lisa Hodgson said The Youth Theatre Program and the performances will all be held at the Theater 29 complex at 73637 Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms. This year’s program is split into two age groups: 7- to 10-year-old “Juniors” and the 11- to 17-year-old “Seniors” who will learn a wide variety of theatrical skills from auditioning to performance and everything in between for five weeks, Monday through Friday (excepting July 4th). The program will be capped at 25 students from each age group. Juniors will meet from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and Seniors from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The cost for the Program is $75.00 per student. Scholarships are also available thanks to the City of Twentynine Palms PAAC, The Rotary Club of 29 Palms, the Kiwanis Club of 29 Palms, and donations from Kip Otis-Diehl, the Estelle Harris family trust and private donations. 

Registration will open in March; applications will be available at theatre29.org. The first 25 applications received in each age group with payment will be accepted (If approved)

 *Applications and payment ($75.00) must be received by June 17th, 2025.
